Ah, bu that's the best part about a mobile phone - when you lose it (in the house or car or handbag) you can ring it to find it! I often wish I could ring my keys like I can ring my mobile! ;~P And, yes, I'm afraid I've accepted it as the standard Yr7 accessory. ALL their friends have one. My 16yo son and 12yo daughter both have pre-paid phones - we bought them the phones and THEY have to pay for the usage. Currently they both have no credit, but I can at least ring them if necessary. ;~)
It costs us the best part of $100 for the whole family to go to the cinema. I really used to love going - it was my favourite past time - but I think I must be turning into a 'grumpy old lady' cos I get so irritated by everything there now! Specially the folks I have to share the experience with; slurping their drinks, talking etc etc. I just have no tolerance for it any more; I'd rather wait and watch most movies on DVD at home! Of course, there ARE exceptions like Harry Potter! ;~)
