I decided I wanted to do the Founders before the last book comes out, plus I wanted some new art to display at Sectus and Prophecy!
Godric, you'll probably recognise from a painting I did a couple of years ago, but he has been revamped to match the rest of the team!  ;~)

I decided to run them the way the tables run in the Great Hall, which worked quite nicely composition-wise, I think.

You can see bigger versions of them in my Deviant Art gallery.   :~)

Just got linked to these and they're absolutely splendid. I know you've got a million people saying that, but it's true :)

(And I love that your visuals of the Founders are so close to the mental image of them I've projected in my fics -- nice to see someone else shares the same vision of Gryffindor, especially. :D)

This is amazing! Not only is the detail exquisit, the personalities just shine through.

Absolutely fantastic. I'm most fond of Hufflepuff and Slytherin.

Unfortunately, I think that Gryffindor looks like a Dwarf and Ravenclaw a bit elfish, but otherwise, they are perfect.

Their postures work really well to show their attitudes.

Those are superbly lovely. Especially Ravenclaw and Slytherin (who looks pleasantly benign here). Beautiful job. ♥

How FABULOUS. I can't help but love the one of Slytherin the most, with his high forehead and his goatee and his faintly wicked expression!

I particularly like Rowena and Salazar. Rowena looks like wisdom personified, while Salazar looks just the sly cunning person I imagined him to be. Among all the founders, the look on Rowena's face is my favourite. Godric, Helga and Salazar look brave, kind and cunning respectively, but Rowena is something else altogether. Her face is calm, yet a mixture of many emotions such as serenity, wisdom and perhaps a tint of worry caused by having foreknowledge of something. That's my imagination of course, but it sure is an intriguing face. Do keep up the good work.

Wow, those are absolutely lovely! Almost exactly how I pictured them, except that I usually imagine Salazar with a hooked Jewish-like nose and Helga with curly hair. But otherwise, perfect! :)

Godric: He is so cute! Am I the only one who thinks he looks a bit like a young Ian Anderson (singer of Jethro Tull)? I keep thinking, where is the flute? Lol.
Helga: Adorable. The hairdo and the big breasts make me think a bit of an opera diva, lol. But she is just so lovely. Very mother-like and nurturing.
Rowena: Reminds me a lot of Liv Tyler as Arwen. Very wise looking.
Salazar: He actually looks handsome! Looks exactly like a person who you can't be sure that is good or evil, and probably is neither anyway - just goes his own way.

All in all, lovely. :) But Godric is my fave - he's just too cute. :D

Oh WOW. These are absolutely beautiful. I especially love that you've included a signature for each one, not to mention how well you've integrated the traits of each. As a matter of fact, I think Slytherin is my favorite for being the perfect depiction of that shrewd, calculating, and sinister nature that his legacy has left behind for Slytherin house. Beautiful work!

Just adding my comment to the hundreds you already have! These are fabulous; their personalities really spring from the screen. I want to pick a favourite, but I simply can't - although I will say that you make me interested in Slytherin, which very few people can manage. Wonderful stuff!

Very nice. I love how each personality comes through. I like HH and SS the best, though the other two are still wonderful.

I've been wanting to comment on this for days, Leela! I think how you took your original Gryffindor and worked in the rest was such a great idea. The way you captured the House dynamics in their subtle facial expressions is amazing.

Rowena looks a little Brook Shields-ish to me, which is very cool. I've never considered her as a young woman before, what a neat idea!

And I like how Slytherin look pretty wily, but not 'eeeevilll'. :P

You are so talented - I'm so glad you play in our fandom. :)
