Ooo! Just found out via HPFZ - http://www.harrypotterfanzone.com/ - that OotP will now open in Oz on July 12 2007! Which is a darn site better than Sept 6!!

That's excellent news! I can't seem to win with these movies -- the last two I've gone to the US to see because we've been 13 days behind, and now I'll be a day behind because it comes out on the 13th in the UK! At least it's only a day, hehehehe. And maybe I can go to the premiere :D

I had a random Aussie question....please forgive my stupid Americanism...but is it true you lot don't eat jelly/jame on your peanut butter sandwiches? Someone told me that and I had to clarify.

Hahaha! No. Despite the fact that what you call 'jelly' we call 'jam', they did try to get the peanut butter and 'jelly' combo going here a little while ago - they tried to sell a jar that already had the two layered in the one jar. Needless to say, it's not around any more. :~P I think your peanut butter/jelly combo is to us what our vegemite is to you. ;~) Something you had to grow up with! ;~D

LOL ok. When she told me that I was a bit lost. And they sell the jelly/PB combo here but it's always grape and just yucky. Heehee. DH has had vegemite before and didn't care for it, but meh, we're from Louisiana...everything has to be hot, hot, hot! heehee.

Heh, the combo they tried to sell here was grape too! No wonder they didn't succeed. ;~P
Vegemite is definitely an aquired taste. It has to be spread very thinly or else it's WAY too strong. Most overseas folks who I've known try it tend to insist on spreading it on like peanut butter! So, yeah, even I wouldn't eat it like that!

Yes, thank goodness! They obviously finally listened to someone SANE who was able to point out the major loss of $ (to piracy) they would suffer if they left us lingering till Sept.
