People, what do you think Ravenclaw's relic (that might have been turned into a Horcrux) might be? I'm doing a picture of her and wanted to put her 'thing' in the pic. Like I did with Godric and his sword. We know Hufflepuff had a wee cup, and Slytherin had a locket...
shocolate, I know you had Ravenclaw's being a necklace in your most excellent story, but does anyone remember what those Arthurian things/items were that were being bandied about a while back? I've forgotten and want to save myself a bit of time looking for it. :~P So if any of you can remember off the top of your head I'd be very grateful!!

I really like this wand theory! :~)

There was a wand in a display case in the window of Ollivander's shop, which many people think is Ravenclaw's. Ollivander and that fancy pants display wand must be somewhere. Either he knew it was Ravenclaw's and booked it before the Death Eaters could get it and him...or the Death Eaters did get it and him.

I like the idea someone else had about a quill.
Or how about a small box? Like a music box?

The necklace worked really well in your fic, although I supect we'll only have one necklace-horcrux, which would be the locket. It could be a book perhaps - although, once again, we've already had the book horcrux in the diary. So, yeah, I'm a bit flummoxed on this one! And it didn't really occur to me that I didn't know what she should be holding until I needed to draw her holding...whatever it was! :~P

It was her brain.
Want more gist? Okay! *lol*
I thought that it was her brain that attacked Ron in the DoM and that, being the brain of a notoriously clever and powerful witch, the powers that be would have wanted to preserve it - hence the brains in the tank.
Anyway, my theory was that when the brain burned scars into Ron's arms it was transferring Voldemorts sould into him and making him the horcrux instead so Harry would have to face the possibility of killing Ron to defeat Voldemort.
Anyway, since the brain attack isn't happening in the OotP movie that must mean the scars don't come back into play in the final book so that's my theory ut the window.
Was a good one though eh?

I almost shook the book like it was an etch-a-sketch to clear all that stuff and find the REAL stuff I'd been looking forward to reading!
Ah but she made up for it by giving him the longest relationship of the thrio and then a big dramatic death scene that didn't end in his death o I could cope!

This is because of the balancing Tarot symbology in the other three Founder icons we've seen; Slytherin, locket (coins or pentacles). Hufflepuff, cup. Gryffindor, sword. Ravenclaw should be wand.

I wonder if Florean Fortescue's disappearance has something to do with the Ravenclaw Horcrux--bothering to mention his knowledge of wizarding history must be for something. But taht doesn't help with an image, does it? Maybe he knew it was a wand, and Ollivander was recruited to help track it down.
