A new commission piece, which some of you may have seen already in fernwithy's journal.
For a scene from her fabulous story, Shifts, which follows what the Order of the Phoenix was up to during Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts.

Sirius has been AWOL from Grimmauld Place as Padfoot, and Lupin and Tonks find him in the kitchen, in front of the fire....

Leela, this is gorgeous. The details are fabulous, from the expressions on their faces, to their hair, to Sirius' shoulders (ZOMG Wow....), to the way the background has definition but doesn't detract from the overall picture.

I really do love the look of this--their faces are so expressive, and Lupin's awkwardness comes through in his stance without making it seem like, "Ew, touchy stuff!" I love the texture in their hair, too--great job!

I could spend five minutes praising your art as being glorious, but I'd risk sounding like a fool. So let's just take the high-praise as a given and move onto the other point, that the three in this picture resemble nothing so much as Leia, Han Solo and Luke. Very impressive.
