Yes, really!

This one was commissioned by Rinny, who wanted a 'film noir' look to Ron and Hermione's attempt to avoid pursuit through muggle London.

Copic marker and gouache on watercolour stock.

HP art from you is such a special treat! :D

And, wow. That ominous shadow and the way you managed to make the paving stones looks so wet. I also love how very London it looks. The lighting is amazing too.

Wow!!! You did an amazing job!! I like how you were able to cast the reflections on the pavement perfectly!

Great art piece. Have you thought about making a comic with Harry Potter themes in such a matter??

OMB!

I recognise that side street!

It's just off Leicester square past the Vue cinema and taking you to Chinatown!

That's so cool. I know where they're going!

*appaluds*

It’s lovely! Looks just like an old time movie. I’m always astonished how you and other artists can make things look wet. That’s something I never learned how to do. Must learn.

AMAZING!!!! I love the mood of this pic, and the rain, and the reflections on the damp ground, and their classy clothes.

Really like this! It has a very atmospheric feel to it, and I particularly like the loooooooong shadow of their follower.

Wow, I really love the mood of this, dark and mysterious. Makes you want to know where they are headed.

Wow, that's AWESOME! Considering one of my favorite films is "The Third Man," you hit it!

Woo-hoo great pic. It makes me relish finally getting my commission pic even more. I'm still on your list, right?

EEEE THIS IS SO BRILLIANT!! Love the monochromatic b&w film feel, the long shadows of filmnoir, the light reflected off the slick wet cobblestone, the BAMF that is Ron and Hermione and their modest umbrella, the city-urban feel....EVERYTHING. THIS IS SO GORGEOUS.

Wow, that is really brilliant! I love the look and style. Great job!

Love it! Very "Maltese Falcon"--excellent work, as per usual!

This is absolutely amazing! I love Ron and Hermione's super serious/cautious looks. I could just imagine Hermione's fast-paced *click clacking* of her heels trying to keep up with Ron's long, steady strides. The coloring is just breathtaking. Very well done! :D

Oh wow, I love this, with the long shadows and the glistening pavement. The expression on Ron and Hermione's faces are so preoccupied, very fitting for this environment. You did film noir very well here. :)

gorgeous, glossy, grays. Love the mood of it and the details and tailoring of the clothing. it's impeccably well done.
