I adore the sound of my birds. I know a lot of folks can't stand it, but I love the background chatter, singing and trilling. We have a lot of wild birds around too; cockies and lorikeets are particularly loud!
There's nothing nicer than waking up to my birds, then hearing the contented grinding of beaks at night as they settle to sleep... :~D
