I have been WRITING!!!  Seriously!  I'm so excited!  I haven't written for over a year and today... almost a complete short fic!  I could cry I'm so happy!

Admittedly, some of the dialogue was written during one of my Muse's fickle visits a little while ago, but that was just dialogue.  All the filler/head stuff happened today.

I cannot express how sweet it feels.  I love my art, love drawing quite passionately.  It has a calming effect on me like nothing else does.  But that has always been a talent I was prepared to prostitute, if you know what I mean.  I could draw what someone asked me to draw and not get all precious about it. 

But writing is the one thing I have always been determined to do just for ME.  So you can imagine how frustrating not having that 'one thing for myself' has been.

 

I know the conditions are perfect - moon's waxing, I'm fertile, but there's been a lot of that and still no writing.  That maybe all I get for this month (or several), but at least the drought has broken.
