Dan on Rove

Just finished watching Dan on ROVE Live and I have to admit I was really disappointed. I thought Dan would be in the studio! But it was an interview from London taped earlier in the week. :~P
And everything Dan said we've heard in previous interviews.
I loved it when David Thewlis was on Rove last yr - he was really funny - and, after seeing Dan on Jonathan Ross last week... we'll he's SO delightful in live interviews...

So yeah, disappointed. :~(

So was I. It was all information we've heard a thousand times before and there wasn't one mention of his Australian film (December Boys).

The 'lay-des' made me laugh though!

Blah, yeah. There was a lacking of the LIVE aspect. And I had to keep changing the channels when they put on footage from the new movie.

Same! I just finished putting my two knuts about it on the quill, but yeah, very dissapointing about the non live aspect and no mention of the new film.
If I didnt know better, I would have though he was on speed but of course, that was just the typical characteristics of a nervous/hyped British guy. Strange creatures.

Dan is VERY bouncy (for want of a better word) in the interviews I've seen. And that was his nervous laugh. Check out the PoA DVD - he's just like that there - specially the bit about the 'towel girl'.
So you haven't seen any of the recent interviews with him that are online? (being on dialup) hmmm

I do wish there had been some new info but I love watching Dan bounce around the screen. LOL, he's so energetic. I'm not disappointed. :)

He was SO freaking amusing on Jonathan Ross! "All I have to do is walk down the stairs and they applaude me XD"

I ADORED his "what's so funny? I'm very suave!" when they were discussing Bond. Dead set hysterical. And the natural way he responded to and involved the audience... WBs could not have hoped for a better leading man!
