Sorry about the lack of LJ cut. I don't know why it isn't working. As far as I can tell the html is correct. *contemplates simply deleting post for the 3rd time* I had several pics to post but that doesn't seem to be an option at the moment.

I meant to mention - it was commissioned for a fanfic ("Daddy's Girl") by Drie, which can be found at Phoenixsong.net
In it Harry and Ginny have a baby and are both about 18. Harry is singing and dancing with the baby, hence the kind of goofy look on his face. ;~)

This particular piece is very striking. I love the expression on Harry's face, and the indulgent look on Ginny's; the baby is adorable as well. The details in the background, the wrinkles in the clothing and the way you can just see hints of the fire lighting the hearth... the picture really comes alive. It's superbly done.

Hi there! I discovered your art at Sugarquill a while back, and joined your Yahoo!group so I could see the rest of your stuff. I was delighted to find that you are also a Star Wars fangirl, and I absolutely fell in love with your Han/Leia art as well. I also took a gander past your website and discovered that you did the artwork for some of the Star Wars novels I've read. I was so thrilled!

This morning, I found a new message in my inbox that you'd updated the Yahoo!group. I love the newest additions to the group, and I thought I'd check if you'd posted them on your site as well since the Yahoo! pics are small and I like to see the details. Anyway, I discovered you have a journal and had to take a peek since I tend to live at LJ these days...

Would you mind if I friend you? I've been giggling at your posts regarding your family, and your views on PoA. (I've seen it six times now, but I've never been able to watch all the credits. *wah* I can't wait until the DVD is out!) I also adore your artwork. By SW novels do you mean Zines? I've done quite a few zines but I haven't done any of the art on the pro novels (I wish!).
Regarding the credits for PoA - I think you'll be hard pressed following the little feet on the small screen, but we'll see I guess. It's not coming out here (in Australia till December! :~( )

*gah* I could've sworn that was you that did the art on some of the more recent pro novels... I must have gone in search of SW art after looking through your site and confused the two...

At any rate, no, I can't even remember my username at SQ! *headdesk* I think it was WillingWeasley but it was so long ago, and I never did get around to posting anything there. I go by HHhellcat (LJ) or Hogwarts Hag in most other fandom sites.

By the way, I thoroughly enjoyed your story at Checkmated. It was so endearing! And I love 'Forty Days to Bespin' so far... I've gotten to where Han and Leia finally made love. *W00T*
