The next in the series for [livejournal.com profile] belovedranger, which is actually the last in the triptych but was done before the 2nd painting because I was trying to avoid inflicting the 'raunchy' one on my kids. ;~P As it is, they've all seen the sketch now so... meh... so much for keeping them unsullied. ;~P

The really amusing part about this painting was that Ayrshire - a place I had never heard of before I started researching southern Scottish beaches for this pic, and the beach I used as a reference for this painting - is in fact my homeland! Well, my husbands' family's homeland. ;~) But we were both Mc's so I come from thereaboots too! :~D But seriously, his ancestors were Lairds of Ayrshire. And we had no idea until I started this pic! How cool is that? :~D

Honeymoon.

Have I told you lately how much I love your work? I really don't ship Ron/Hermione, preferring Harry/Hermione, myself, but your depections are always beautiful! In this, i can esily see the love and joy between Ron and Hermione. It brings a smile to my lips, when I need cheering.
As always, your attention to detail is what makes your paintings. I often get bored with all the finickey little details, and sometimes the painting becomes dry, as a result. One day, I hope to do as well. Alorkin
Oh, By the way, is the little critter in the foreground, an otter, or is it Draco, the wonderferret?
