I am amazed, what a beautiful piece! (maybe because I haven't been around much, but) I haven't seen many artists who color their work by hand, and I love it! *is inspired*

The detail is incredible, I love their expressions, and the little bird in the upper right corner is very cute, and is such a nice touch.

I think you evoke something of a "fairytale realism" in your work that sucks me into every picture you create. In this particular one, the textures seem reminiscent of various Christmas models I used to see in Hallmark stores, the kinds of things one displays during the holidays, and I love that sort of thing. Also, the emotions your characters convey are always true; this doesn't seem idealized, just happy and enchanting. I love it.
