Yesterday, as well as the 2 galahs (Molly and Arthur) visiting, we also had some Eastern Rosellas -


Then, this afternoon, just as the kids were coming home, I noticed 2 galahs waiting in the tree next door -


and then looked up to see -

on our TV aerial!

Waiting for us to go inside so they could feed safely.  :~D

I think the feed tray I put out might be crowded soon...

Showed hubby your birdy pics/vids last night and now he wants to move to Australia;) He raised cockatiels when he was a teenager and thought Spike was quite adorable.

Spike is my first experience of a cockatiel and what a wonderful experience it is turning out to be! He wasn't hand-raised, so it's especially exciting when he does something like he did tonight, and chooses to come to me and get on my hand without me asking him to. Makes you feel all warm and giddy. XD
