Smiley face in the sky!

The waxing crescent Moon, Venus, and Jupiter made a smiley face over my house last night! XD

 
Another smiley face will not grin over Australia until the early hours of July 21, 2036.
*hopes she is around to see it*

My daughter and I saw it up here in the Northern Hemisphere tonight as we were coming out of her piano lesson at twilight. There were no stars out yet, and it was really cool. Being so far north, though, our moon looked much more crescent-y and not so smiley-face-ish.
