On a totally unrelated note--well, not *totally* unrelated, but (oh, just SHUT UP, Yanks, and say what you mean!): Okay, so I was sitting on my ass last night, without a Yankee game in sight, and decided to end my months-long fanfic hiatus and indulge. That brought me to your "Family Matters." I mean, when returning after a fanfic absence, what else are you gonna do, but go with a brand you trust, right? You're one of those "brands" (this sounds kinda weird and kiss ass, but I'm sooo serious.) Anyways, yeah, I read that one again and I have to say that unfortunately for you, my hunger for the next installment has been totally re-awakened. I mean, it seriously has. I've considered chaining myself to a tree until you write the next one, or going on a prolonged hunger strike. But then I realized that being strapped to a tree would be even more boring than just waiting for your fic outright, and I'm waaay too lacking in will power to starve myself properly. But that said, I still desperately want you to continue it, because if I don't know what happens there will forever be a gaping void in my life, and you don't want that, right? I must know what happens!!
I'm sorry, I know my pestering must be annoying, but I'm desperate. Like Leia in hologram begging for Obi Wan's help....okay, whatever. My point is made. You gotta continue it. *dissolves into mist*
And can I just second yanksfan's thoughts on 'Family Matters'? No pressure or anything but I'm getting quite desperate here! ;-)
I've also been re-reading some of your other fics and begging is becoming more and more of an option! ::sinks to her knees:: Please, please, is there any chance of seeing more of your story soon?
I'm also missing '40 days' and 'one night' terribly. I know you said that at least one of them is archived at the CE but maybe my computer works in strange ways but I can't find it... ::sobs::
merkuria_lyn, due to demand I have actually put those fics up in the file section at my Yahoo site. Just don't tell anyone ok? (she says in a public journal) I just don't want the torch-carrying lynch mob after me because the wrong people are reading NC17 fics. I'm sure you understand. I don't know what happened with One Night on the CE. I really thought it was up there but, having checked because folks were asking after it, I saw that it certainly wasn't there any more.
Maybe I should start posting what I've written for the new part in here? Maybe that would kick my muse into gear?

JK is only 2 yrs younger than me and I'm sure she was a SW fangirl. I was convinced of that the first time I read Chamber of Secrets.
Today I have been 'pounced all over in geeky delight' and been told I am 'a brand you can trust' as far as fanfic goes. Quite honestly, I'm feeling pretty good right now. Thanks! :~)
