not.

Every time I read the description of the Dark Mark in the books, I've never been able to shake the image from Raiders; which I'm sure was the source material for the Dark Mark. So today I thought 'what the hell! Lets make an animation of the bastard!' :~)

The school holidays have started and I am making the Dark Mark... that says something I think... :~P XD

OMG, that's both creepy and brilliant! That scene always creeps me out! (Am like Indy, don't like snakes -- and for a snake to come out of a skull??!?! Eeeeeeeeeeeeek!)

Thanks! Glad you liked it. :~D Like you, it was one of those images seared into my brain after watching Raiders the first time back in '81. So of course, when the Dark Mark was described in GoF... what else could I see?

Oh, totally the image! Pop culture strikes again! (And I'll never be able to watch Raiders without thinking about Voldemort again!)

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Just like we can't read Dune without thinking 'Tatooine', or Asimov's Foundation Trilogy without thinking of Trantor/Coruscant. Not to mention Han! XD

BRRRRRR... that's really creepy! But good.

By the way: I really like your user icon. I have this picture on my desktop for christmas decorations... I think it's a briliant piece of art. Merry christmas and merry hippogryffs to you :)

Glad you liked my Dark Mark. :~) And thanks for reminding me to pop up a xmas wallpaper on my comp! (I have 'the Snape who (almost) stole Xmas'. (which is up at my Yahoo site if you want to see it. It was my very first photomanip! And was done in respose to a totally brilliant verse written by Suburban House Elf at Sugarquill)

Well, I'm awake now. And terrified. If I break down into frightened tears during our holiday office party, I'm blaming you. ;)

Seriously - fabulously creepy.

I'm just about to sleep and I won't be surprise if that image pop in my head later and wake me up before I want to get up. It's freaking awesome.
