1. Stop talking about politics for a moment or two.
2. Post a reasonably-sized picture in your LJ, NOT under a cut tag, of something pleasant, such as an adorable kitten, or a fluffy white cloud, or a bottle of booze. Something that has NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS.
3. Include these instructions, and share the love.

#1son singing along to Moulin Rouge (Come What May) with his Ron and Hermione dolls. Seriously, what could be more joyous? XD

Awwww....

LOL. I always have this sneaking suspicion when I hear they're 'watching SW again ' or off to a Harry Potter costume party that you have a very strong influence on your brood. Oh wait. These are great movies... they probably didn't need to be convinced of that. :)

Some things just put it all in perspective, you know!

Yes and no. It's a very passive indoctrination. :~D They are exposed to a lot of pop-culture in our house.

Their current favourite film - or it was before Shrek2 came out last week! -is Love Actually!

None of them are SW fans. They like it well enough, but they have never pulled out the films themselves to watch.

#1son is a big HP fan though. He was before I was. And he has never read the books! (so I found it particularly fascinating that he picked up on the R/H dynamic) He watches the films at least once a week, and has a big crush on Emma. XD

That is totally cute.

I really love your work over at the Sugar Quill, and surely another friend wouldn't hurt now, would it? ;) I'm LycanMYSTIK by the way; the piece most people know me for is the "Newlyweds" pic of Lily and James over at Sugar Quill. Glad to have gotten in touch with you at last. Take care!

Hi! Great to meet you! I have to tell you - I just checked out your site, and that Mauruders pic you did using Illustrator...! *swoons* Talk about beautiful!! They all look PERFECT for the characters. Seriously, I love it! Did you really choose those actors before they were cast in PoA?

From: [identity profile] lycanmystik-22.livejournal.com

I actually found out ahead of time about two of the characters where to be cast in – Gary Oldman and Timothy Spall. "Moony" I had a young Ralph Fiennes and "Prongs" was Ewan McGregor. Ironically, Ralph DID get cast into HP later on – as Voldemort XD. And I heard Ewan doesn't like HP at all for whatever reason. Ahh well.

But yeah, I did an image manip of the four guys, positioning them off a poster I saw for The Doors, and vectorized them in Illustrator after that. Glad you like them so!

Which reminds me....I better get all my art together soon as that website hasn't been updated in a year :P and I've been making other things since then.
