I have this theory that something a long time ago went down with Cissy and Snape. My theory, Draco's their love child. And in the interview with JKR from Leaky Cauldron and Mugglenet, she did say Snape does not have a duaghter. Had she said, Snape does not have a child, it would be easy to assume he has no dependents, so what's stopping us from not asuuming he has a son. I know, it's insane, and JKR will probably never mention an affair in her books, but still, something is odd about how Snape treats Draco.
He's always been a watcher over him, even before he did the unbreakable vow. It's weird, so even if Draco wasn't their live child, Snape having a bond from a past relationship with Narcissa would make sense. My theory, or morely hoping, that Narcissa and Snape are secretly in love.
