Remember that Celtic Ron/Hermione pic I did a while back? *is too lazy busy to post link*
Well I was commissioned to make a Harry/Ginny version and this is the result! :~)







This was a HiRes CG painting (whereas the R/Hr was LowRes) so the lines are finer and details more evident than the R/Hr one.

PS: Ginny does in fact have freckles, it's just that they're not as evident on the textured canvas.

Oh my god. This is one of the most beautiful pieces of HP fanart I've ever seen. I am in LOVE with Harry's face -- the stubble, the scar, his eyes, his NECKLACE. GAH. And Ginny is simply amazing. The shape of her jaw and that little bit of pink highlighting on her cheek -- holy adfa;eoiajfa. Her earrings! The tattoos! The detail on their robes! Criminy, I could look at this for hours with all the beautiful little details. It's incredible.

Did you see the photomanip of Harry's head on Anakin's body that was posted a couple of days ago in the starwars LJ comm? Well, someone had a major-league freakout over ALL THE HP SHIT being posted and, damn it, this is a SW ONLY comm!
Cos, you know... there are no similarities between the two or anything... *rolls eyes* Godforbid we ever mention another fandom!
And there had only been 2 mentions of HP in recent times that I could see...

And regarding HP fandom- I honestly can't see how a Han/Leia fan could fail to love Ron/Hermione. ;~)

Heh. I swear you are my long lost twin or something. Yes, I've read 'Mists of Avalon'. 20+yrs ago now, but... suffice to say, when I first joined HP fandom back in 2003, I wrote the beginings of a story that involved a manipulative Dumbledore, Harry, Ginny and a very Celtic Kingmaking. Haven't touched it since but, dude... it's like you can read my mind or something... ;~P

Thanks, Liss! Yeah, the Ginny/Leia thing seems to be a trend I've fallen into. It must be the 'small, feisty female' thing that just makes her turn out that way. I've certainly never tried to make her look like Leia. In fact, this time I used Nicole Kidman as a reference! So how she ended up looking like Carrie, I really don't know. :~P But I can see the similarity too. :~P :~D
