I really like your older Harry. Too many folks draw him as 16 with scruff, but you get the sense that he's more grown up here, and I really like that.

And Ginny is so beautiful!

Thanks, Darsynia! It's great to hear that it looks like a 'grown up' Harry! Glad you liked Ginny too. :~)

This looks so sad, taht I'm not really sure if I want to know what's going on here. But, they're amazing! Beautiful work!

Oh dear me, you do so rock my world Leela. I love how you make Harry so 'Harry' and yet a grown up man at the same time. Ginny too, she's so pretty, and they really look like they belong together.

*sigh* ... and it's kind of silly, but I always love the way you do his glasses and the streaks of light reflecting in them. ha!

So beautiful! Love the way you've drawn Ginny and her expression, absolutely love Harry!
Ah, so gorgeous. Thanks for this lovely treat.

Really nice - his expression is so distressed. I like this a lot.

Both grown wizards, no longer kids...Ginny looks both worried and relieved and Harry just looks like all his worries are gone...great work.

Thanks for sharing!

It's remarkable how you age up your characters so that they are recognizable as their described childhood selves from the books yet become both yours and strong embodiments of deep adult characterizations in your work. That felt long-winded and imprecise. What I want to say is that I completely accept your illustrations as True, and they make me very happy to see. ♥

The picture is, as always, utterly gorgeous. I'm as ever astounded by your use of color. It's just beautiful.

(I hope you don't mind my asking - I noticed your mood registered somewhere between rage and depression. Is everything okay?)

This is a very poignant piece. As always there is so much emotion in their faces. Beautiful!

I hope you're feeling better.

Thanks, Sue! I've made a post about the health thing. ;~) Feeling a wee bit more positive this evening.

As others have commented it's clever/talented how you've depicted the older versions of the characters. I've had 'Heal the Pain' in my reading queue for a while ... maybe it's time to move it to the front!

That's so beautiful! I love the tender look on Ginny's face, and I looooove her hair so much, I want to have hair like that! :) And you really do get the sense that Harry is much older in this picture. Great work!

From someone who is actually not that interested in Harry/Ginny: holy CRIPES. This is gorgeous. This picture may do more for me in selling me on Harry/Ginny than all of Book 6 did, I swear. I love Harry's stubble, and Ginny's gentle "If only I could do something" air.
