STUBBLE!!! OMG, he's gorgeous! LOOK at the DETAIL on his glasses!!!! And Ginny aint bad either! oNly kidding! YOu know how much I love your work! I don't care who the pairing or what the subject matter is!
This looks so sad, taht I'm not really sure if I want to know what's going on here. But, they're amazing! Beautiful work!
Hahaha! See, that's how I feel about art too! I don't care who (or what ;~P) the pairing is, I'm just there for the pretty. :~) Glad you enjoyed this one!
Oh dear me, you do so rock my world Leela. I love how you make Harry so 'Harry' and yet a grown up man at the same time. Ginny too, she's so pretty, and they really look like they belong together.
*sigh* ... and it's kind of silly, but I always love the way you do his glasses and the streaks of light reflecting in them. ha!
It's remarkable how you age up your characters so that they are recognizable as their described childhood selves from the books yet become both yours and strong embodiments of deep adult characterizations in your work. That felt long-winded and imprecise. What I want to say is that I completely accept your illustrations as True, and they make me very happy to see. ♥
As others have commented it's clever/talented how you've depicted the older versions of the characters. I've had 'Heal the Pain' in my reading queue for a while ... maybe it's time to move it to the front!
That's so beautiful! I love the tender look on Ginny's face, and I looooove her hair so much, I want to have hair like that! :) And you really do get the sense that Harry is much older in this picture. Great work!
From someone who is actually not that interested in Harry/Ginny: holy CRIPES. This is gorgeous. This picture may do more for me in selling me on Harry/Ginny than all of Book 6 did, I swear. I love Harry's stubble, and Ginny's gentle "If only I could do something" air.

(I hope you don't mind my asking - I noticed your mood registered somewhere between rage and depression. Is everything okay?)
