I've been offline the last few days thanks to our computer kinda dying. But it's all fixed now, so all is well. Plus my new computer is now connected to the internet! So we have our own mini Internet cafe`; both of us side by side surfing the net. ;~P
Now, it's already St Patrick's Day here, so you have to go and see the brilliant art

Thanks for the mp3, but I'm a complete nerd when it comes to music. (unless it's a movie soundtrack) Anything younger than the Beatles or ABBA and I wouldn't have a clue. ;~P Although I'll admit I do like Evanescence (thanks to my 15yo son introducing me to their music. Actually, he's 16 now!! *sniff*)

My 8 year old Daniel and I were driving down the road to go pick up a prescription at the doctor’s office and he had one of his Star Wars Lego people in his hand. He started telling me that he loved Star Wars so much and was giving me analogies about how much that was. Then in a totally serious tone he says “If Star Wars was a woman I would marry her!” Well I snorted and nearly choked with laughter. I told him I knew someone that would get a kick out of hearing what he had just said. And he said “REALLY?!” I said “Yes and she lives in Australia. She is a big fan of Star Wars too.” He said “Wow a grown up that likes Star Wars?” Then I said “Yes a grown up.”
Anyway I thought you would get a kick out of that. I was able to keep the car on the road, but holy cow that was funny.

Funny thing is, my 15yo and 10yo sons are getting into it now, and are lamenting that I'm no longer the fan I was (for Star Wars), and am paying more attention to HP fandom instead. (which is not as cool apparently) I still retain enough of the useless info about that universe (which I've assimilated over the years) to impress them though. I'll vex them by arguing with them over canon when their games talk balderdash. But only the ones that deal with the Original Trilogy. Anything from the Prequel Trilogy I wash my hands of! Heh.

I was not even a teenager when the first one came out (10 or so I think). HBO keeps playing the Original Trilogy movies but they have been updated and I’m kind of put off by it. I liked them the way they were. The kids keep asking me what they changed. I can’t always put my finger on it, because it has been so long since I saw them, that I don’t remember all the little things. I just know that they are different somehow.
