Looks like Ron (and Ginny?) are going to be Beaters in the Quidditch team for the movie.  O.o

ETA:  maybe not; these uniforms look like the ones in CoS, so it might be Fred and George.

ETA2: definitely Fred and George.  ;~)

You know, it's movie changes like that which I never understand.
Ok MAYBE for editing and time the drop the whole tryouts thing and such, but why can't Ron stay Goalie (yes shush I've forgotten the HP term. I suck). Same with James magically becoming a Seeker.

Seriously the feel good moment was worth the canon loss, it was a contrived feel good moment *sigh*

. . . and persnality wise I just don't see Ron as a Beater. Ginny yesh, but Ron's personaloty fits keeper (wait is thar right?)

Huh has anyone ever written a Quidditch position as related to personality essay?

I was at the NY Comic Con this weekend where those figures were on display and they are Fred & George, not Ron & Ginny.

There was a separate Ron figurine (that I took pictures of even though I wasn't supposed to) and he's a keeper in that figure. The signage said not to take photos because it was not in final form (pending licensor approval). To me that means that the WB could say, "we're taking this out of the movie" and then the figure wouldn't be released at all.

How can they be Fred and George for the movie? Fred and George left Hogwarts and even if they didn't "escape" like they did, they were 7th years in Order of the Phoenix.

OMG you scared me. (And clearly I need to not get so worked up over something like this if it had been true, but I digress... ;))
