Just a drive-by posting to say that True Blood is the most thoroughly enjoyable TV show on at the moment!  I've read all the books to date, and have to admit I like the show better.

Oh, and I'm an Eric/Sookie shipper, like that's a surprise.  GIP!  XD

I think it's a rare time we get to say we like a show better than the books, but in this situation, I completely agree.

Just the opportunity to stare at Ryan Kwanten is enough-- but he gives Jason something more than was ever able to come across in the books.

I read the books years ago, not really liking the writing, but being soooo absorbed in the storylines that I couldn't put 'em down.

I am THRILLED with the show. And this really is one of the few times I can say that I love the adaptation better than the source material.

Eric/Sookie is definitely my favorite pairing.

I haven't read the books yet (I just got copies of the e-books), but I've been very hesitant because I keep hearing this from everyone.

I am sooo loving this show though - I cried last night!!

And I have to say, ME TOO!!! Omg!! I am completely in love with last nights scene. I'm pretty sure they have become my new OTP. I was also curious where you got your icon, I love it!!

I like the books best, but I think Alan Ball is doing a smash-up job representing them. I adore Charlaine Harris. The show is fun! I happen to like the Show Eric better than the book Eric. Or the book Bill, for that matter...

Eric is where it's at. I've never read the books so I have NO idea what's coming down the pike.

But I have to say the scene where Eric was turned by Godric - my slashy heart BURST with joy!
