I have it! It's not due to come out here till the 1st, but I bought it in Safeway this afternoon. :~D
So the kids and I all watched it then they went to bed and I watched all the extras. Can I just say that the interviewer and the shrunken head SUCK? I mean seriously SUCK. Those 'funny' quips might be vaguely funny the first time (they weren't), but they certainly won't be on repeated viewings. Talk about aggravating - specially since it wasted so much time which might have been used for oh, I don't know, allowing the cast to ANSWER questions!! *angry face*

But, apart from that, I did enjoy it.

Will have to check out the sampler disc again; I'm pretty sure there was stuff on that which wasn't on the DVD.

And now it's nearly 1am, so I must go to bed! Got the men arriving at 8.30am to put in our AirCon!

Yeah I was a bit frustrated by the shrunken head. I mean, why was it in the movie in the first place, eh? But apparently JK has planned for something similar... Not sure I heard that right though.
But anyway. I'm with you on that one. The shrunken head and the interviewer were a bit too much. I liked the interviewer in CoS. He seemed pretty professional. This one was just too childish for my taste.

Seriously, that shrunken head was just off! I hated all the interruptions in the interviews because it ate up too much time that could have been spent on something much more worthwhile! The only time I liked that head at all was during the Dursley interview because it was quiet. *sigh* I suppose it's all part and parcel with the Cuaron vision of the Potterverse.

It was nice seeing the movie at home though, and I had the luxury of watching things and rewinding or fast-forwarding at will. And I FINALLY got to watch the credits! Yay.

Hmm...

Must go buy DVD!! All that is remembered from show in theatre is thinking "that was ridiculous" at certain intervals.

Ahaha... you don't know me, but I have been a fan of your artwork for a while now! I completely, completely love it. So... yay! Might I friend you?
