To all my fellow Open Canvas users-

Does OC have a 'history' file like Photoshop? You know, where you can select to go back several steps. At the moment I can only find the basic Control-Z, which will only undo the last stroke. I would like the option to be able to undo more than one stroke...

:~)

I'm curiouse, what advantages does open canvas have over photoshop? I downlaoded a trial version, but that was around the time my monitor died, and by the time I got a new one the trial period had only a few days left in it ^^;;

Anyway, I'm very curious because I see a lot of people using it.

Yes, and they achieve some lovely art with it. Hence my desire to master it. But I'm still in the 'scary and frustrating' stage. :~P

Will be able to comment on the advantages/disadvantages when compared to Photoshop soon, hopefully!

*butts rudely back into thread* Photoshop has more options as far as the whole 'making your own brush and filters' and all that fancy stuff, but open canvas has this nifty brush for specifically coloring/painting purposes where the colors are made to blend like watercolor, and smoothing for your strokes is also built in. It's..hard to describe.. it's like the smudge tool and paintbrush combined.. and it's addicting x3. 'sgood for lazy people like me :D.

Hmmmm......I use a Mac, so when I want to go further back than the usual Command+Z, I press Command+Option+Z. it lets you go a few steps back like what History would give you. I think for Pcs, you press Control+Option+Z. Give it a try and let me know. Sorry if it doesn't work. :(

Whoops....sorry for the purple-age. :D I have never used Open canvas before and I really hate Photoshop. I use Painter now and it's the exact same like OC I guess. ^^
