Particularly from ivylore  or anyone else who has had the good fortune to see an aurora.

Are the colours too 'pretty'?  The theme of the book is that everything (particularly polar bears) are all the same colour, so the aurora is supposed to stand out.

Anyway, I'd like to hear your opinions.  :~)

I think it looks beautiful and very real. Maybe a little more white light in some of the aurora though?

Yes, I think that the aurora should have more white too--it tends to be slightly paler than that when they're all swirly. It's a lovely pic!

Thanks! It's difficult when it's something you've never seen yourself. Photo references help of course, but they can only take you so far. :~)
