Would you like me to post WIP pics of this as I go? I haven't decided how I'm going to render it yet. I'd rather like to do it in oils but scanning that would be a major pain in the arse, so I'll probably just go with CG.
I've just finished a slash CG that (to me) looked a lot like an oil painting, so I'll probably end up doing it like that. Nevertheless, I am tempted to go with the oils... I rather fancy splashing some real paint around, you know? Maybe I'll post a Poll! "How should Leela paint this?" Heh. Yeah, that could be fun! But I'll wait till next week when everyone's back from reading HBP... ;~) Although, admittedly, this will probably be the last thing on my mind by then. ;~P
Enough of the prattling! Must get to work...

I love these sketches. I have no conception whatsoever of the way artists approach a piece, so this is a tantalising little insight.
And my vote is for the oils, because it sounds more fun than CGI. Yeah.

This is gorgeous, btw! Simply beautiful! It shows such a different side to both DD and McG; and !sleeping baby Harry! How precious!

I think this would make an awesome oil painting, but then anything you do with it will be beautiful.
