I was discussing weight and body image with my daughter a couple of nights ago and ended up finding some pics of Marilyn Munroe to show her. She was considered to have the ideal figure in the 60s, but now she'd be laughed at and be classed as a 'big girl', which I think is quite tragic. Particularly as the image that women are so desperate to match today is not only unrealistic, it is impossible. Most of the magazine 'beauty's' are photoshopped!
