Here's a vid of our visiting galahs (whom we've now named Molly and Arthur), but also listen to Pippin chattering in the background. You'll hear him say, "Where's my Annie? Gone to school!" and sing the 'Happy, happy, joy, joy' song, as well as "Luna" "beautiful, beautiful" "Hello!" and lots of kissy noises. :~)
Because Pippin loves the camera so much, it's been impossible to catch him talking with it!  So here, we're focussed on something else completely and you get to hear some of his chatter.   XD

oh how cool - they are so cute
my hubby and I have a thing for wild parrots
and I loved listening to your budgie chatter in the background. We used to have one that would say a couple words. We had him about 5 years, but sadly gone now:( miss him.
couple pics of him and our kitty to show off interspecies dating:

Omygoodness! Look at that! The cat never tried to eat the budgie, I take it? ;~P

My first budgie (when I was c20yrs) only lived about 5-6yrs, and I still get sad about him. He was my first baby! He taught me that something so small can love much bigger than I'd ever imagined.

Yeah we loved our little budgie. We also loved Gizmo (photo cat), he was extremely gentle and never went after the bird. In fact the budgie would chew on his fur and pull his whiskers and Giz would merely look to us for help. Giz was also a bit clumsy - ever heard of a clumsy cat? He'd run into things, roll off windowsils, trip while walking along a fence...

Oh, gosh, yes! We had the clumsiest cat! She died just recently, but was the funniest thing. She couldn't jump up onto a bench, was forever getting stood on cos she was all black and would lie in the middle of the hallway in the dark. We called her a 'clump of a lump' because stealth was foreign to her and she was as ungraceful as it is possible for a cat to get. LOL.
