Here's a vid of our visiting galahs (whom we've now named Molly and Arthur), but also listen to Pippin chattering in the background. You'll hear him say, "Where's my Annie? Gone to school!" and sing the 'Happy, happy, joy, joy' song, as well as "Luna" "beautiful, beautiful" "Hello!" and lots of kissy noises. :~)
Because Pippin loves the camera so much, it's been impossible to catch him talking with it!  So here, we're focussed on something else completely and you get to hear some of his chatter.   XD

Girls are not great talkers, I've heard. But then I've also heard (and experienced!) that the females are much nastier and bite WAY harder. But our Luna is the sweetest, most gentle budgie I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She doesn't 'talk,' but she has started imitating the magpies that visit, as well as Pippin. So there's a possibility she'll copy some of his 'language' by accident! ;~)

yeah i heard as well the girls don't talk that much ^^

and yeah, she can bite quite hard when she gets the chance (or when my stepfather sticks his finger through the bars o.O)

sad thing is, when you buy them young, you can't see what it is... boy or girl... we first thought mine was a boy because the nose cap was first blue, but than turned brown.

stupid thing is... she has a boy's name -_-

Im thinking about getting another one, which is older, male, and tamer. So she might learn from his behaviour.
