Veritaserum have just posted pics of Voldemort and Dumbledore action figures thinking they're for GoF, but they aren't. They were actually released for PoA. I have both of them. (the Voldemort one is pretty cool :~))

I could not fathom WHY they brought out Voldie and D'dore figs, but NO RON. grrrr!

That's one of my peeves too! It seems that Ron is always overlooked by the films and now the toys, which peeves me to no end! There was a Voldie POA action figure? He wasn't even in POA!

Hence my rightous outrage. I flatly refused to buy Voldemort for that reason (despite the fact that he did look very cool), but Hubby came home from the Supermarket with him for me cos they were throwing them out cheap. :~\
I wasn't going to buy Dumbledore either, cos he looks like OotP Dumbledore! But once again, Hubby couldn't resist. ;~P (he's a big collector fanboy)

If they don't have a Ron this time I will be mightily PISSED.

Does he buy two action figures – one to play with and the other in the original package untouched? My father did that with all his original Star Wars action figures. My father still has his original set, locked in a vault somewhere.

He buys more than 2 if he can. One to keep, one to play, and as many as he can to sell. ;~D

Yep, he's a big fanboy collector all right – just like my dad. :P It's a shame that my father isn't a Harry Potter fan *shakes head*

Hubby's not a HP fan either. Nor is he a SW fan (my old obsession). He's more into Superman and Batman. Classic superheroes. Oh, and Universal Monsters. ;~) Loves Dracula etc.

I adore Batman too, but I'm not as crazed to collect action figures. :P

My husband did that! And he's still doing it! It drives me crazy, but we did sell a Vader once for some crazy amount of money becasue the lightsaber was made too long or something like that.

Yeah, errors are worth double or triple the average worth – it's because they are so rare, especially so when they are corrected in later productions.

See they're now denying there was ever a card with the 'doctored' 3PO. I have seen a pic of it but, then again, the pic could have been manufactured. ;~P
One of those glorious 'golden age' SW myths we like to cling to. ahahaha!
