Ha. God bless the internet. Just when it lulls you into a false sense of security that it is something you can rely on, it cuts you off, leaving you lost and flailing. Well, me anyway. :~P

And, pathetic nethead that I am, I have followed some of my flist and created an emergency backup . ;~P

And what did I achieve in those hours without LJ?? Well... I started washing down the walls in my kitchen! So YAY!

AND I think I have finally figured out how to load and work my ipod! (cos, you know, it never works like it does in the instructions or online tutorial *rolls eyes*) Go me! XD

I've been playing in a RPG and we run things through GJ. It's pretty much the same as LJ, only you have to contend with all those ads. But the returns you can get by being at GJ - a place to store your pictures, up to a 1000 icons ... I'd almost move there except that I'd miss the community we have here!

Having a backup is a good idea though. It's about the only thing that kept me sane while LJ was MIA - I could still at least touch bases with some of my friends!

Oh, and clean kitchen walls are a good thing! I went hiking today because LJ was still out. Yay for change, but yay even more for LJ's trimuphant return!

Leela, I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one who resorts to cleaning when something I want on the internet is unavailable to me, or when there's nothing going on that I'd rather be doing! It's about the only time I don't resent it. ;p

BTW, I sent you a PM at the Playground. Nothing urgent, just whenever you get to it is fine, but I just wanted to let you know it was there.

Dude, I love my iPod! I had my little brother set it up for me and teach me how to load music on it and update it. He was overcoming the flu at the time, and now I'm sick as a dog, but I still think the trade-off was worth it. Besides, all this off-time means more time to load music!

Oh, and you'd appreciate this. When my little brother was setting it up? You know how when you're plugging your iPod into the computer to update it, it has a name? Like "Em's Ipod" or whatver? Ha ha, my little brother changed the name to "Hans Navicomputer" ha ha so the computer is always "Don't unplug! Updating Han's navicomputer" when I'm loading.

I'm a geek. But it gives me a little laugh.

As for ipod-love... DUDE, I have never heard sound quality like it! I finally loaded the HP3 and ROTK soundtracks onto it and MYGOD! Talk about being reduced to tears of joy. Must load more...

Mua ha ha haaa! I love my iPod too! I loved it four months before I finally bought it. I loved it so much, I had all my music in iTunes 8 months before I bought it. I love it so much I have all my pictures, anime movies and word documents backed up on it. I love it so much I'll be completely broke for the next year and a half buying groovy accessories for it.

Yes, I am a hopeless case.

And yes, next on the shopping list is an iBook with a tablet, but that's years away.

Noooo, it's a 20gig! (the middle-sized one) I have the last 3 HP audiobooks loaded on and HEAPS of soundtracks! And I've only used 4gig! WHOO HOO!
